Machine is non functioning. Purchased new from Home Depot 8/31/26 and delivered 9/2/26. When recieved, removed from box and registered with Whirlpool. No specific install directions were included and had to look up online. Installed according to manufacturers specifications. Successfully cycled 2 loads 9/2/26 and an additional cycle was run 9/5/26 successfully. Attempted to cycle on 9/6/26 and machine did not complete its cycle. Error code F9 E1. Manually drain machine and attempted to cycle machine empty. Continues to read error code F9 E1.

Warning - Do not purchase this product!!

I regret this purchase from day one!! First it is hard to call it a washer since it does not wash clothes. The filling is auto sensed although no matter what level you choose it will only fill to under the level of the clothes that are placed and if you look later they are barely wet and still sticking out of the water. They sent a repairman out twice (the same one!) who said it was functioning as expected. Hence not filling or washing clothes. They may be slightly wet at the end of the cycle but they certainly were not washed. Customer Care assured me multiple times this the way the ™€˜new washers work efficiently using less water™€™ although it will take almost 2 hours so it is using more electricity! Hummm For now I add more water with a bucket and wash them with my hand in the washing machine before I let the cycle continue. Not the best option but until I find a REAL Washing machine that actually washes clothes it looks like I™€™m stuck for now. Do your homework and find another product!

All seems well, but it is still taking some getting used to. It appears that a lot of things are now "automatic" that didn't used to be. Also, I would really like to be able to put clothes in the washer as it is filling. A lot of what was spot treated was done at load time with water to make sure the spot was handled, now that can not be done.

I was so happy to get a removable agitator. I love them, my son hates them, will and they're nice to remove for blankets. Washes great no issues except there is NO CYCLE COMPLETE ALERT. My last washer did not have and it was old, I thought they came standard now so didn't think to look specifically for that. Quite bummed. Holds a good capacity but I haven't used the presoak option. Cycle complete alert would make this a 5 star.

The washer works well, but you really need to use the pods as the powder soap doesn't dissolve well if you don't put in in before loading the items to be washed. It is also very loud when the water is filling and when it spins out the water. Be sure to measure the height when the lid is up. It was much taller than my previous washer and I cannot stand the lid all the way up. I will probably have to raise the cabinets above the washer a few inches to fix this.

This Washer is perfect. The removable Agitator works great when I wash bulky items. My laundry is well done and clean at the end of each cycle. The energy efficiency has noticeably lowered my energy bill. I love that it has these cycle options for different fabrics and colors. The cleaning process is also very easy. Perfect for us. The previous, brand new Kenmore, did not get enough water, was a really long cycle and did not get the clothes clean! Really love the removable or usable agitation. Only down side is no detergent or softner dispenser - still playing the guessing game & trying to catch the rinse cycle. Still, I now have clean clothes :)

I purchased this washer from Menards back in May 2026 to replace a washer that I only had for about 2 years that was from a different manufacturer. This washer ran perfectly for about a month and then stopped in the middle of a cycle. After using AI to troubleshoot the issue, since this was July the 3rd and your office was closed so I couldn't request service or support, it was due to a wire connector and bracken on the bottom of the washer that must have been loose from the beginning. Unfortunately, the drum was full of water and the lid was locked so I couldn't drain it. I attempted to drain it using the bypass commands and reset, but nothing worked. I tried to pry the lid open with a putty knife, like was suggested in one of the forums, but this caused the locking mechanism to break, but the lid to open. I drained the drum, reattached the wire harness on the bottom of the washer and then couldn't get it to work due to the lock being broken. I ordered a replacement lock from Amazon, which didn't work, so I ordered a new one from a certified Whirlpool parts dealer. Installed it and it worked perfectly, but cost me another $109. I did check on the warranty and I could have had it serviced under warranty 4 weeks later. In any case, when the washer is working, it's a great machine. I love the removable agitator and it seems to spin dry the clothes better than my old washer ever did. It's very easily serviceable, however, Whirlpool needs to figure out a better way to unlock the lid manually or just remove the lock completely. Also, Whirlpool needs to figure out how to reduce their warranty service wait from 4 weeks to possibly a week or less.
