I like the new gas range, But I need to get used to a broiler in the oven compartment. Also the cast iron grates get much hotter , quicker than my old range. The styling and the stainless finish match the Frigidare refrigerator also purchased

I am awaiting delivery of a new range after waiting almost 2 weeks for the first one because the first one was defective - broken door lock mechanism and the oven would not work at all due to an error code. Praying the next one comes soon and works this time!

Love the stove top, struggling with baking in oven

I love love love using the stove top. Nothing cooks like gas. The large grates make it very easy to shift even large pans around so it was a joy to can pickled dilly beans using my new stove.What I'm struggling with is getting the regular bake oven setting to work well. I have tried banana bread and 3 made from scratch cakes. The outside of the baked goods get done correctly, but the centers do not bake well. This was very disturbing as I usually bake for guests and special occasions, so want my cakes to be pretty as well as tasty. I'm going to call my dealer to see if they can come calibrate my oven, because it's frustrating going through all the trouble to make made from scratch items only to gave them not turn out the way they should. I checked the manual and it said do NOT use convection bake for cakes so I hope the place where I purchased the stove from can help.

DANGEROUSLY EASY TO TURN NOBS

The range and oven themselves are wonderful; however, the nobs are very dangerous and cause life threatening situations in our home a couple times since we had it installed just in August. If you barely brush up against the nobs (like to reach the microwave oven or cabinet above it) you can accidentally turn the nobs, releasing dangerous and deadly gas into the environment. Twice, this has happened to us, just today was the last time, when we had many guests over. When I came back inside the house after talking with the last guests and sending them home, I smelled the gas. Went to the oven and found one of the dials was turned slightly. I purchased a gas sensor for this very reason, but apparently, it didn™™t work, even though it showed it was on. I had to air out the house for an hour. These nobs are way to easy to turn. You should have to push them in with some force and turn them. It™™s almost like they glide not turn. This needs to be fixed on these models or someone is going to die, either from gas exposure or gas explosion.

This is wrong. The stove is made with the cheapest of materials and in the cheapest way. It takes me lo get to clean the darn stove than it takes to cook my meal. That's because it does not clean the water and oil marks does not come off when wiping with damp cloth. The covers in the back of the stove are loose. Why? You can't afford a couple of screws? Or is it that you take short cuts in your productions. This is my first Frigidaire item I bought and I will never buy Frigidaire again.

We purchased this range to replace an older Frigidaire gas range that was not working anymore. We are very happy with the improvements made to the new models and added features. I especially like the griddle and the air fry in the oven. The range is easy to clean and instruction book is easy to understand.

I was browsing around and came across this stove on sale. So I checked it out. This stove has convection bake, convection roast, and air fry! It also has a converter for going between convection for your recipe times. It comes with a temperature probe for perfect meat every time. So far this thing has exceeded my expectations and am very happy with the purchase.

My 14 year old GE dual fuel oven died and we needed to buy a new one. I looked at a lot of reviews of different brands and this one had the best reviews. After talking with the salesman who has worked in this particular store for 24 years he gave me his honest opinion. He likes the Frigidaire brand, not to say there aren™™t better stoves/ovens but within our budget this was his favorite. I really like the looks of the stove top and it works great. So for the pros™¦ I love how it cooks and bakes. I like that the time still shows with the ™timer™ time showing.. I like how the knobs feel when turning them. I love the convection oven! I also like having numbers instead of arrows to put in the temperature or time. Now for the cons: I feel like the stainless steel is a piece of tin. Light, flimsy, & thin. The bottom drawer is small (but the oven is larger so that helps) and very wimpy. Not made well at all. When I took it out if the box I was shocked. I should have tested it at the store. I called the store back and they said everything today is made that way. The last con is that the timer is awkward. In order to turn it off you have to push the timer button again plus turn the oven off.. it™™s all separate which my old oven buttons were streamlined and if I wanted a separate timer from the oven I could use that function so this is annoying. Not a deal breaker just a little annoying. I™™m getting used to it though.Altogether I™™m glad I got this stove/oven over the LG for many reasons. I just wish things were made sturdier and to last longer. I definitely opted not to pay a higher amount for something ™pricey™ because nothing lasts like they used to. I™™m glad we didn™™t return it. Hopefully it lasts a long time!

We were thrilled to finally replace our not very old LG. Now we still have problems as the center burner is ™jetting™™. The flame is inconsistent & the installer couldn™™t adjust it. So here we are again waiting for the technician on a brand new range.
